Read the short code correctly
S03E04 means the fourth episode of season three. The same code can appear beside many programs, so keep the series name with it. Our season pages expand the code into a name, date and optional story description.
Why a count can differ
The regular lists use original air-order information. Specials are excluded, and a provider may combine two parts into a longer entry. Differences like that can change the displayed episode count without establishing that the underlying story is missing. Compare the named installment before assuming that the numbers alone settle it.
Follow a title across different groupings
For programs such as Futurama, first locate the name you want in the guide, then compare it with the service’s list. Keep the names immediately before and after it in mind. This makes a different season grouping easier to recognize without reading through later plot summaries.
Resume without an accidental spoiler
Use the last installment you are certain you watched as an anchor. Open that earlier story description if your memory needs help, then move to the next name. Start with the date and title of an unfamiliar episode, not a detailed account of its ending.
